About Us
Neath Foodbank has been operating in Neath since September 2011. We feed people in need in our local community. Foodbank vouchers are held by frontline agencies such as social workers, health visitors and housing associations. These vouchers are redeemed at the foodbank where a team of dedicated volunteers give support and encouragement to the clients over a cup of tea and biscuits.
Donations
We are thankful for all food donations, but if we could target the specific items below we would be very grateful:
• Tinned hot meats (e.g. Stewed Steak, Mince Beef & Onions, Fray Bentos Pies)
• Tinned fruit
• Small Evaporated Milk
• Tinned Custard
• Sugar
• Sponge puddings (2 pack, any brand, usually priced £1)
• Cereal
• Tinned carrots
• Tinned cold meats (e.g. small tins of ham, Spam, Pek etc.)
• Tinned sweetcorn
• Tinned potatoes
• Instant Mash
• Squash (small bottles)
• Tinned tomatoes
• Tinned rice pudding
• Tinned spaghetti
• Jars of pasta sauce
• Biscuits
At Christmas we are very grateful to also receive food particular to that the season. Thank you very much for your generosity.
